Delicious butter tarts with coconut, pecans, and raisins - a crowd favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 12 (3 inch) unbaked tart shells
  • 0.5 cup corn syrup
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.33333334326744 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.25 cup raisins
  • 2 tablespoons coconut
  • 1.5 teaspoons vinegar
  • 1 pinch salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and neatly position tart shells on a baking sheet.
  • In a bowl, cream together brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter until smooth. Gently mix in the egg until just combined. Add pecans, raisins, coconut, vinegar, and salt; evenly distribute the mixture into tart shells.
  • Bake until the filling bubbles and the crust turns golden brown, approximately 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
