Crackle Top Fudge Sauce

Decadent hot fudge topping that sets and crackles on top of creamy ice cream.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 0.75 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, chopped
  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Combine confectioners' sugar, butter, and heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until smooth. Avoid boiling. Remove from heat and mix in chocolate chips and unsweetened chocolate until melted. Let it cool a bit before use. Store covered at room temperature for a few days or in the fridge for up to 1 week.
