Irresistible chewy oat bars with cranberries, pecans, and cozy spices - simple to bake, delightful to devour!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 0.33333334326744 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 0.75 cup dried cranberries
  • 0.75 cup pecans
  • 0.75 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease an 11x7-inch baking dish.
  • Start by enhancing the flavor profile of your dish by adding the rich taste of melted butter into a mixing bowl. Blend in the egg, brown sugar, and vanilla to create a luxurious base. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin pie spice together for a harmonious blend of spices. Gently fold the flour mixture into your butter mixture until perfectly combined. Incorporate the cranberries, pecans, and oats into the batter until evenly distributed. Press the mixture into your prepared baking dish, ready to bake and enjoy!
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 13 to 15 minutes until the top is dry and the edges gently pull away from the sides of the pan. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
