Ingredients:
  • 4 small granny smith apples
  • 30.00 ml fruit mince
  • 125.00 ml apple and mango juice
  • 120.00 gm low-fat vanilla custard, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C. Core the apples using an apple corer, then make a small slice around the middle of each apple to prevent bursting while cooking.
  • Arrange the apples in a beautiful ceramic baking dish. Fill each apple with delicious fruit mince. Drizzle the juice over the apples. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, making sure to baste with juice every 10 minutes until the apples are perfectly tender.
  • Divide the apples onto serving plates and drizzle with the juice. Serve with custard on the side.
