Ingredients:
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained (dark or light)
  • 1 (15 ounce) can chili beans, undrained
  • 5 tablespoons chili powder, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown and crumble the ground beef in the skillet for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Combine kidney beans, chili beans, and tomato sauce in a pot. Bring to a boil, then mix in chili powder. Reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
