Easy apple cinnamon muffins with cinnamon streusel topping using fresh apples to fill your kitchen with delightful aromas.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 0.33333334326744 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.33333334326744 cup milk
  • 2 apples - peeled, cored and chopped
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, cubed
  • 0.33333334326744 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and prepare 6 large muffin cups by greasing or lining them with paper liners.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Add egg, oil, and milk, then gently mix. Fold in chopped apples and fill muffin cups just below the rim with the batter.
  • Prepare topping: Combine sugar, butter, flour, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Use a fork to mix the ingredients until crumbly, then sprinkle over the unbaked muffins.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
