Easy and delicious baked Brie with brown sugar, perfect for entertaining guests.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup sliced almonds, divided
  • 0.5 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 (8 ounce) round Brie cheese
  • 1 French baguette
Instructions:
  • Heat your oven to a piping hot 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Roughly chop 1/4 cup almonds and transfer to a small bowl. Combine with brown sugar and mustard, mix until well incorporated.
  • Cut the Brie round in half horizontally. Place one half, cut-side up, at the center of a round baking stone. Spread half of the brown sugar mixture evenly on top. Cover with the other Brie half, cut-side up. Spread the rest of the brown sugar mixture on top. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup almonds.
  • Arrange diagonally cut slices of baguette around the creamy Brie and give them a delightful spritz of cooking spray.
  • Place the baguette slices and Brie in the preheated oven until the baguette is golden brown and the Brie begins to soften, for 8 to 10 minutes. Allow the baked Brie to rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
