Elevate your party with these irresistible cinnamon roll cookies made easy with Betty Crocker® cookie mix.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions:
  • In a medium bowl, combine cookie mix, softened butter, flour, and egg until a dough forms. Roll the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4-inch thickness, then brush with melted butter.
  • Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl, then evenly sprinkle the mixture over the dough. Roll the dough jelly-roll style, starting from the long side. Wrap the roll in plastic wrap and freeze for 30 minutes or until firm.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F. Slice the dough into 3/4-inch pieces and place them 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake until edges are lightly golden brown, for 11 to 12 minutes. Let cool for 2 minutes, then transfer from the cookie sheet to a cooling rack. Allow to cool completely for about 15 minutes.
  • Combine powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl until mixture is smooth. Drizzle over cooled cookies.
