Easy Dough Gift Tags

Homemade gift tags using Bisquick mix for a festive touch on holiday presents.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • Rubber stamps
  • Ink pads
  • Ribbon or twine
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 200°F and line a cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper.
  • Combine Bisquick® mix, salt, oil, vinegar, and water in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High for 1 minute, stir, then microwave for another minute. Allow to cool until manageable.
  • Knead the dough for 5 to 7 minutes until it becomes smooth and pliable. Roll out the dough to 1/4-inch thickness on a cookie sheet using a rolling pin.
  • Cut out tag shapes using small cookie cutters or a sharp knife. Punch a small hole at the top of each tag using a drinking straw. Decorate with a stamp.
  • Bake for 3 to 4 hours, flipping halfway, until crispy.
  • Thread the ribbon through the holes and secure with a knot. (Reminder: Not edible.)
