Quick and delicious spice drop cookies using Betty Crocker™ sugar cookie mix, making them perfect for beginners and last-minute baking needs!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 2 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup quartered green, red and white spice-flavored gumdrops
  • 2 tablespoons coarse white sparkling sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. In a large bowl, combine the cookie mix, flour, softened butter, and egg using a spoon until a soft dough forms. Gently fold in 1/2 cup of the quartered gumdrops.
  • Roll dough into 40 (1 1/4-inch) balls. Space them 2 inches apart on ungreased large cookie sheets and press each ball into a 1 1/2-inch circle. Sprinkle sugar on each circle and top with 3 quartered gumdrops.
  • Bake for 7 to 9 minutes until edges are set and light brown. Let the cookies cool for 2 minutes before transferring them from the baking sheet to a cooling rack. Allow them to cool completely for about 20 minutes. Store in an airtight container once they have cooled.
