Quick and flavorful Italian-inspired meatballs ready in under an hour.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 0.5 cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 (28 ounce) jar marinara sauce
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, gently mix together the beef, egg, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until just combined, being careful not to overmix to maintain a tender texture.
  • Roll the mixture into 1- to 2-inch balls.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, sear meatballs until golden brown and cooked through, about 3 to 5 minutes per side.
  • Heat up the marinara sauce in a pot over gentle heat. Then, introduce the cooked meatballs into the sauce and allow them to simmer for 15 minutes to enrich the flavors.
