Tender pork marinated in soy, sesame, garlic, and ginger, paired with stir-fried cabbage and carrots for a simple, flavorful dish.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 0.75 pound pork tenderloin, fat trimmed and pork cut into 1/4-inch strips
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cups shredded napa cabbage
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic in a bowl to create a smooth marinade; transfer to a resealable plastic bag. Place pork in the bag, ensuring it is evenly coated with the marinade, then remove excess air and seal the bag. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight to marinate.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat. Add cabbage and carrot. Stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes. Push vegetables to the side and add pork with marinade to the center. Stir-fry until pork is cooked through, 3 to 4 minutes. Incorporate cabbage back into the mix; stir-fry for an additional 1 to 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
