Indulge in decadent Nutella-filled muffins with a quick and simple recipe - ready to bake in 10 minutes and topped with a luscious swirl in just 5 minutes! The ultimate treat without the hassle.
Ingredients:
  • 300g (2 cups) self-raising flour
  • 140g (⅔ cup) caster sugar
  • 185ml (¾ cup) milk
  • 125g butter, melted, cooled
  • 4.40 gm vanilla extract
  • 300g (1 cup) Nutella
  • 40.00 ml chopped toasted blanched hazelnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 200C/180C fan forced and line a 12-hole, 80ml (⅓ cup) muffin pan with paper cases.
  • In a large bowl, mix flour and sugar together. In a large jug, whisk together egg, milk, butter, and vanilla. Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture and gently stir until just combined.
  • Spoon half of the mixture into the prepared holes. Add 2 tsp of Nutella to each one. Cover with the remaining mixture. Bake for 20 minutes until golden and cooked through. Allow to cool in the pan for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Top muffins with a generous layer of Nutella and a sprinkle of hazelnuts before serving.
