Impress with easy 3-ingredient Nutella twists in 30 minutes. Golden, crispy puffs with decadent chocolate-hazelnut flavor, perfect for holiday indulgence.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (17.3 ounce) package pre-made puff pastry
  • 1 cup chocolate hazelnut spread, such as Nutella®
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) while preparing a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Dust a work surface with a sprinkle of flour, then roll each puff pastry sheet into a 10x10-inch square. Keep them aside.
  • Spread a luscious layer of chocolate hazelnut spread onto one puff pastry sheet, then gently top it with the other sheet. Trim any excess edges and slice the pastry into 10 sleek 1-inch wide strips using a knife or pizza cutter.
  • Take one pastry strip at a time and twist it along its entire length. Coil the twisted strip into a round shape, tucking the end underneath, and place it on the baking sheet. Repeat with the rest of the pastry strips.
  • In a small bowl, whip the egg with a fork until smooth. Use a pastry brush to delicately coat the tops of the twists with the egg wash.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 14 minutes until beautifully golden brown, then allow to cool on a wire rack.
