Quickly seared halibut brushed with a savory butter and honey glaze for a gourmet meal ready in less than 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 0.5 lemon, juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 pound fresh halibut fillet
Instructions:
  • Mix together butter, honey, lemon juice, garlic, soy sauce, and pepper in a small bowl. Set aside a portion of the mixture in a separate small bowl for serving.
  • Cut the halibut into three pieces and generously brush each side with the delicious butter-honey mixture.
  • Preheat a skillet over high heat until it sizzles. Sear the halibut for 90 seconds on each side. Lower the heat to medium and cook until the fish is easily flaked with a fork, about 2 to 3 minutes per side. Serve with the reserved butter-honey marinade.
