Quick and flavorful sausage manicotti bake with Alfredo and marinara sauces, string cheese, and pre-cooked Italian sausage for a satisfying Italian comfort meal in no time.
Ingredients:
  • 7 links cooked Italian chicken sausage, cut in half lengthwise
  • 8 ounces uncooked manicotti pasta shells
  • 1 (15-ounce) jar alfredo sauce
  • 8 mozzarella string cheese, pulled in half lengthwise
  • 1 (24-ounce) jar prepared marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
  • Begin by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Stuff each pasta shell with half of a savory sausage link and place them neatly in a lightly greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Evenly pour Alfredo sauce over pasta shells. Lay half of a string cheese on top of each pasta piece. Spread marinara sauce evenly. Shake 2/3 cup water in the marinara jar and pour around the dish edges. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan on top. Cover with foil before baking.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden around the edges and bubbly all over for about 1 hour. Uncover for the last 25 minutes. Allow it to stand for 10 minutes before serving and garnish with chopped parsley.
