Cheesy scalloped potatoes – a simple, comforting side dish loved by all.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 8 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 14 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup skim milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • Layer the bottom of the casserole dish with potatoes, then top them with cheese and a sprinkle of flour. Season with salt and pepper. Repeat with the rest of the potatoes, cheese, and flour. Pour milk over the top and cover the dish with aluminum foil before baking.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the potatoes are fork-tender, around 45 minutes. Uncover and bake until the cheese is bubbly and starting to brown, for 10 to 15 more minutes.
