Slow cooker French dip with tender rump roast, savory beef broth, onion soup mix, and beer for a mouthwatering sandwich.
Ingredients:
  • 4 pounds rump roast
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed French onion soup
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can beef broth
  • 9 French rolls
  • 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions:
  • Prepare all your tantalizing ingredients.
  • Trim any unnecessary fat from the rump roast before transferring it to the slow cooker.
  • Add the beer, onion soup, and beef broth to the pot. Cover and slow cook for 7 hours on Low setting.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Arrange French rolls split open on a baking sheet. Generously spread butter on each roll. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until warm throughout.
  • Take out the rump roast from the slow cooker and slice thinly on the diagonal.
