Effortlessly delicious slow cooker beef sandwich filling with just 4 ingredients!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3-lb) fresh beef brisket (not corned beef)
  • 1 package (1 oz) onion recipe and dip soup mix (from 2-oz box)
  • 1 can (10 1/2 oz) condensed beef broth
  • 8 mini baguettes or sandwich buns
Instructions:
  • Grease a 3- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray, then add the beef. Combine the dry soup mix and broth in a small bowl, and pour the mixture over the beef.
  • Cover and simmer on Low heat setting for 8 to 10 hours.
  • Carefully skim off any excess fat from the liquid in the cooker. Transfer the beef onto a cutting board and slice it thinly across the grain or shred it.
  • To start, slice each baguette in half lengthwise. Stuff them with the savory beef filling and cut into smaller pieces. Serve alongside a flavorful broth for dipping. The beef mixture can be kept warm on the Low heat setting for up to 2 hours, remember to stir occasionally.
