Delicious Swedish apple pie with sweet, cinnamon topping. Easy to make, no rolling out dough required.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 0.75 cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Coat apples with a generous sprinkle of sugar and transfer to a pie plate.
  • Combine 1 cup of sugar with flour, butter, egg, and cinnamon until well blended. Evenly spread the mixture over the pie.
  • Bake in the oven until apples are tender and topping is golden brown, about 40-45 minutes.
