Mustard-coated flat iron steak with tea leaf topping for a flavorful, juicy twist.
Ingredients:
  • salt to taste
  • 4 (6 ounce) flat iron steaks
  • 0.25 cup spicy brown mustard (such as Gulden's®), or as needed
  • 8 black tea bags, cut open, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Heat up your outdoor grill until it reaches a nice medium-high temperature, then give the grate a light coating of oil.
  • Season each steak generously with salt, coat both sides of the steak with a thick layer of mustard, then sprinkle tea leaves over the steak until fully covered.
  • Grill the steaks until they reach your preferred level of doneness, around 5 to 10 minutes per side, with an instant-read thermometer showing 140 degrees F (60 degrees C) in the center.
