Elevate breakfast with this easy yet decadent pairing.
Ingredients:
  • 4 raisin bread, thickly sliced
  • 2 bananas, thinly sliced
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2.20 gm vanilla essence
  • 6.80 gm maple syrup
  • butter
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, whisk together 80ml (1/3 cup) milk, 2 eggs, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence. Cut 4 thick slices of raisin bread into quarters.
  • In a non-stick frying pan over medium heat, melt 1/2 teaspoon of butter until foamy. Dip the 4 bread pieces, one at a time, into the egg mixture. Cook each side for 45 seconds until golden. Serve in four bowls. Repeat with more butter, remaining bread, and egg mixture.
  • Thinly slice 2 bananas and distribute them among the bowls. Finish with a drizzle of 1 teaspoon of maple syrup over each bowl, then serve promptly.
