Whip up a simple fig freezer jam with just four ingredients. No cooking required. Just mix, stir, and chill or freeze!
Ingredients:
  • 5 cups white sugar
  • 3 cups stemmed and coarsely chopped figs
  • 0.33333334326744 cup lemon juice
  • 2 (3 ounce) pouches liquid pectin (such as CERTO®)
Instructions:
  • Combine sugar and figs in a spacious glass or plastic bowl. Allow them to sit, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has partially dissolved, for approximately 15 minutes.
  • Combine the lemon juice and pectin in a separate glass or plastic bowl, then pour it into the fig mixture and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Transfer the fig mixture into clean plastic canning containers, leaving 1/4 inch space at the top. Seal the containers and refrigerate or freeze.
