Whip up flavorful, crispy salmon patties in the air fryer without the need for eggs.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound fresh salmon
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 0.75 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped scallions
  • 0.25 teaspoon crushed red chili flakes
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • nonstick cooking spray
Instructions:
  • Prepare the salmon by meticulously removing any skin and pin bones, then finely chop into 1/4-inch pieces. Transfer a portion of the salmon into a food processor and place the rest in a spacious bowl.
  • Combine mustard, mayonnaise, and lemon juice in a food processor and pulse until a thick paste forms. Transfer the mixture to a bowl with the remaining salmon and mix in bread crumbs, scallions, and chili flakes until evenly combined.
  • Shape the salmon mixture into 4 delicious patties, then lay them on a baking sheet and generously season with salt and pepper. Chill in the freezer for 1 hour to set.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and coat the basket with nonstick spray.
  • Add the burgers to the basket and generously spray the tops with nonstick spray. Cook for 8 minutes, then spray the tops again and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
