Make crowd-pleasing homemade flour tortilla chips that taste better and are cheaper than store-bought ones.
Ingredients:
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • 8 (10 inch) flour tortillas, each cut into 8 triangles
Instructions:
  • Prepare all your fresh and flavorful ingredients.
  • In a 10-inch skillet, heat 1/2 inch of oil over medium heat until it reaches 360°F (182°C), which should take around 8 minutes.
  • Carefully immerse tortilla triangles into the hot oil in batches and fry, turning frequently, until they are beautifully golden brown, for about 2 to 3 minutes. Then, transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Repeat the same process with the remaining tortilla triangles.
