Savor a lively sparkling wine cocktail in style.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 rockmelon, seeded
  • 250.00 ml seedless green grapes, halved
  • 10 cumquats, thinly sliced
  • 750ml sauvignon blanc, chilled
  • 750ml riesling wine, chilled
  • 750ml Moscato d'Asti* or sparkling wine, chilled
  • 10 citrus leaves
  • 10 cumquat wedges (threaded onto wooden skewers with citrus leaves), to serve
Instructions:
  • Scoop melon balls with a melon baller, then freeze in an airtight container for 1 1/2 hours or overnight.
  • In a large jug, combine frozen melon balls, grapes, and cumquats. Pour in white wine, followed by Moscato. Serve immediately in small, tall glasses with citrus leaf and cumquat stirrers.
