Ingredients:
  • 2 carrots, peeled, finely chopped
  • 2 celery sticks, trimmed, finely chopped
  • 1 brown onion, finely chopped
  • 500g pkt Regular Australian Beef Mince
  • 200g creme gold washed potatoes, peeled, cut into 1.5cm pieces
  • 40.00 ml Traditional Gravy Mix
  • 44.40 gm tomato paste
  • 48.80 gm Worcestershire sauce
  • 150g (1 cup) frozen peas
  • 270g pkt Simply Garlic Bread Slices, halved diagonally
  • 100g (1 cup) pre-grated pizza cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200C/180C fan forced. Heat oil in a deep ovenproof frying pan over medium-high heat. Sauté carrot, celery, and onion for 5 minutes until soft. Transfer the cooked vegetables to a heatproof bowl.
  • Turn up the heat to high and add in the beef. Cook and stir with a wooden spoon to break up the lumps for about 5 minutes until browned. Incorporate the vegetable mixture, potato, gravy powder, and tomato paste, stirring until well mixed. Pour in 250ml (1 cup) water and Worcestershire sauce, then bring it to a boil while stirring. Lower the heat to medium, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the potato is tender, stirring occasionally. Finally, mix in the peas.
  • Place the garlic bread slices on top of the mince mixture, slightly overlapping at the pan's edge. Sprinkle generously with cheese. Bake until golden and melted, around 15 minutes. Be sure to check out our helpful video demonstration for making this delicious Garlic bread savory mince dish.
