Transform salmon with zesty lemon, rich butter, and savory garlic for a gourmet meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 0.5 cup butter, cut into 16 pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 2 (1 pound) salmon fillets
  • 0.5 cup butter, cut into 8 pieces
  • 1 lemon, cut into 8 slices
Instructions:
  • Heat your oven to a toasty 450 degrees F (230 degrees C), then mix together water and lemon juice in a bowl.
  • Place the 16 pieces of butter in 2 rows on a baking dish, topping them with garlic slices. Finally, lay the salmon fillets over the butter and garlic rows.
  • In a bowl, microwave the sliced butter with minced garlic for about 40 seconds until melted. Spoon half of the butter-garlic mixture over the salmon and top with lemon slices. Pour half of the lemon juice mixture into the baking dish.
  • Place the dish in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Once done, coat the fillets with the cooking juices, and drizzle the remaining butter and lemon juice over them. Return to the oven and bake until the salmon easily flakes with a fork, around 10 more minutes.
