Impressive braided breadsticks made with crescent dough and served with Creamy Parmesan Dip for a special twist on classic dinner rolls. Easy and delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary leaves
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Dough Sheet
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Coarse sea salt
  • 1 container (7.5 oz) chive & onion cream cheese spread
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F and line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper. Combine herbs and pepper in a small bowl. Unroll crescent dough onto a work surface and evenly sprinkle herb mixture over the dough. Fold the long sides of the dough in half lengthwise and press to form a 13x5-inch rectangle.
  • Cut the dough rectangle in half crosswise to make 2 rectangles measuring 6 1/2x5 inches each. Then, cut each half lengthwise into 12 equal strips to get a total of 24 strips. Pinch together the ends of three strips and start braiding them. Once braided, pinch the ends together and tuck both pinched ends under. Place the braided dough on a cookie sheet and repeat with the remaining dough strips.
  • Microwave butter in a small bowl for 20-30 seconds until melted. Stir in garlic powder. Brush mixture onto braided breadsticks, sprinkle with salt, and bake until golden brown for 11-14 minutes.
  • Next, in a separate small microwavable bowl, combine the ingredients for the Creamy Parmesan Dip. Microwave the mixture covered on High for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until it is heated through. Serve the warm breadsticks with the dip.
