Ginger & honey chicken wings

Marinate wings overnight, then grill for a smoky flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 24 chicken wings
  • 5 spring onions
  • 1 fresh red chilli
  • 5 tablespoons runny honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cm piece of ginger
  • 5 sprigs of fresh thyme
Instructions:
  • Finely slice the spring onions and chili and combine them in a bowl with honey, soy sauce, grated ginger, and thyme leaves. Mix thoroughly. Place the chicken wings in a single layer in a dish. Pour the marinade over them, cover, and refrigerate for 24 hours. Grill the wings for 15-20 minutes until cooked, turning regularly. If using a griddle pan, finish in the oven at 180ºC/350ºF/gas 4 for 10-15 minutes to ensure they're fully cooked.
