Try our delectable gluten-free cheesy egg bake featuring Bisquick™ Gluten Free mix.
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (16 oz) bulk gluten-free pork sausage
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cups frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz)
  • 3/4 cup Bisquick™ Gluten Free pancake & baking mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 eggs
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Grease a 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. In a 10-inch skillet, sauté sausage, bell peppers, and onions over medium heat until sausage is cooked through; drain any excess fat. Combine sausage mixture, potatoes, and 1 1/2 cups of cheese in the baking dish.
  • Combine Bisquick™ mix with milk, pepper, and eggs in a medium bowl until well blended. Pour the mixture over the sausage in the baking dish.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese and bake for an additional 3 minutes until the cheese is melted. Allow it to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
