Indulge in gluten-free sugar cookies using Bisquick® Gluten Free mix!
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 package (3 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons shortening
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 1/2 cups Bisquick™ Gluten Free mix
  • Additional powdered sugar for work surface
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting, if desired
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease cookie sheets with shortening or cooking spray. 2. In a large bowl, mix 1/2 cup powdered sugar, cream cheese, butter, shortening, vanilla, and egg yolk until well blended. 3. Stir in Bisquick mix until dough forms.
  • Roll out half of the dough at a time on a powdered sugar-dusted surface to a 1/4-inch thickness. Cut out shapes using cookie cutters and gently place them on cookie sheets about 1 inch apart using a metal spatula.
  • Bake for 6 to 8 minutes until edges turn light golden brown. Let cool for 2 minutes, then transfer cookies from sheets to cooling racks. Allow to cool completely for about 15 minutes. Spread frosting over cookies.
