Simple and decadent gooey brownies filled with walnuts and chocolate chips.
Ingredients:
  • 1.25 cups white sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1.5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a 2.2-quart glass baking pan with aluminum foil and coat with nonstick spray.
  • In a bowl, mix sugar, butter, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy using an electric mixer.
  • In a separate bowl, combine 3/4 cup flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda through sifting.
  • Gradually incorporate eggs into the sugar and butter mixture until well combined. Add the flour mixture in portions, stirring gently until batter is just mixed.
  • Coat chocolate chips and walnuts with 1 1/2 tablespoons flour and gently mix into the batter. Transfer the batter into the baking pan and smooth the top using a rubber spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes until the edges are set and start to pull away from the sides of the pan. Allow it to cool until the center is firm.
