Whip up a crowd-pleasing hot sandwich with onions, peppers, and provolone cheese in one pan for an easy and delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • salt to taste
  • seasoned salt to taste
  • 1 (8 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, seeded and sliced into strips
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 pound thinly sliced roast beef
  • 4 submarine rolls, halved
Instructions:
  • Heat an electric or stovetop griddle over medium-high heat. Arrange mushrooms, onion, and pepper on one side and roast beef on the other. Cook and stir each group separately, chopping the beef into smaller pieces while seasoning with salt and seasoned salt.
  • Place provolone cheese slices over the hot beef and vegetables until melted. Turn off the heat. Fill sandwich rolls with the cheesy beef mixture, and top with onions and peppers.
