Succulent grilled chicken in a flavorful marinade of soy, sesame, ginger, garlic, and honey, resulting in a mouthwatering glaze.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 3 slices fresh ginger root
Instructions:
  • Prep all ingredients.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Microwave on medium power for 1 minute, stir, then heat for an additional 30 seconds, being careful not to let it boil.
  • Transfer the chicken breasts to a shallow dish and generously coat them with the flavorful soy sauce mixture. Allow the chicken to marinate for 15 minutes to enhance its taste.
  • Preheat a medium-high outdoor grill and lightly oil the grate. Remove chicken from marinade; then boil the marinade in a saucepan until thick, about 1 minute, for basting later.
  • Grill chicken, basting with marinade, until golden brown and fully cooked, about 6 to 8 minutes on each side. Ensure internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C) with a meat thermometer.
