Easy and sweet grilled corn on the cob for perfect summer meals, no soaking required!
Ingredients:
  • 4 ears fresh corn, in their husks
  • Butter (or an herb butter ), for serving
Instructions:
  • Preheat your grill until it reaches a scorching 550°F, ensuring it's ready for high-heat cooking by following the hand test trick - if you can only hold your hand one inch above the grill for 1 second, it's good to go.
  • Grill the corn: For a touch of char, remove a few outer layers of husks before grilling to protect the corn. Grill corn in husks on a hot grill, turning occasionally until husks are charred on all sides, about 15-20 minutes.
  • Peel off the silks and charred husks: Take the grilled corn off the heat. Allow it to cool for about 5 minutes. Remove the silks and charred husks from the corn. You can use a damp towel to protect your hands from any sharp edges while peeling.
  • For serving, enjoy with a dollop of butter or add a zing with a sprinkle of chili powder, Cojita cheese, and a splash of lime juice for a Mexican flair. If you enjoyed this recipe, please leave a star rating below!
