Grilled pita pocket burgers with creamy cucumber sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (8 ounce) containers plain yogurt, divided
  • 1 (1 ounce) package dry Ranch-style dressing mix
  • 1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, and chopped
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 0.25 cup diced onion
  • 6 pita bread rounds
  • 2 cups torn lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato, seeded and diced
Instructions:
  • Mix together 1 container of plain yogurt and 1 envelope of ranch dressing mix in a medium bowl. Reserve half of the mixture. Stir in the remaining container of plain yogurt and diced cucumber into one of the bowls; combine well. Refrigerate the mixture. Preheat the grill and lightly oil the grate before grilling.
  • Combine the ground beef and 1/4 cup of onion with the remaining yogurt mixture. Form the mixture into 6 delicious hamburger patties.
  • Cook the patties on medium heat for 7 minutes on each side, flipping once.
  • Slice off the end of each pita pocket, then stuff with torn lettuce, grilled burger, creamy cucumber sauce, and diced tomatoes.
