Irresistibly juicy burger waiting to be devoured!
Ingredients:
  • 4 lean ground beef patties (4 to 6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons steak sauce
  • 1 envelope (1 ounce) onion soup mix (from 2-ounce package)
  • 2 large Bermuda or other sweet onions, cut in half, then thinly sliced and separated (6 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Instructions:
  • Preheat grill. Grease two 18x12-inch sheets of heavy-duty foil with cooking spray.
  • - Coat beef patties with savory steak sauce and generously sprinkle with half of the dry soup mix. - Arrange onions in the center of each foil piece. - Evenly distribute the remaining soup mix, brown sugar, and vinegar over the onions. - Fold the foil over the onions, ensuring a tight seal with a 1/2-inch fold, and fold again. - Be sure to leave space for circulation and expansion on the sides.
  • Grill the beef patties and foil packets over medium heat, covered, for 10 to 15 minutes. Remember to turn the patties and rotate the packets halfway through until the meat thermometer shows 160°F at the center of the patties. Serve by placing the packets and patties on plates, and don't forget to cut a large X on the top of each packet and fold back the foil. Enjoy your meal!
