Indulgent grilled chuck roast with simple marinade, perfect for summer grilling. Serve with grilled tomatoes for a refreshing twist. Just as delicious when baked. A must-try recipe for meat lovers.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (4-lb.) beef chuck blade roast (2 inches thick)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 to 2 garlic cloves, minced, or 1/2 to 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Instructions:
  • Remove excess fat from the beef roast. Mix all remaining ingredients thoroughly in a 12x8-inch glass baking dish or large resealable plastic bag. Add the roast and ensure it is coated well with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight, flipping the roast occasionally for even marination.
  • Preheat your gas or charcoal grill. Take the roast out of the marinade and refrigerate the marinade. Put the roast on the grill over medium-low heat for 50 to 75 minutes, flipping once and basting with the reserved marinade during the last 15 minutes of cooking. Dispose of any leftover marinade.
