Tangy lemon-pepper marinated London broil steak perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds top round, London Broil cut
  • 1 tablespoon meat tenderizer
  • 0.33333334326744 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons seasoning salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 teaspoons tarragon vinegar
Instructions:
  • Score the meat in a 1 1/2 inch square pattern on the top and bottom, then score the sides. Sprinkle generously with unseasoned meat tenderizer, and use a fork to pierce the meat every 1/8 inch at least halfway through on both sides. Lightly sprinkle with water and massage in the tenderizer. Transfer to a plate, cover, and let it sit for an hour.
  • Combine oil, lemon juice, seasoned salt, lemon pepper, garlic, parsley, and tarragon vinegar in a small bowl. Pour the marinade over the meat, saving some for brushing later (do not mix it with the meat yet). Chill meat covered in the dish for three hours, flipping every 30 minutes.
  • Heat up the grill to high temperature.
  • Prepare the grill by lightly oiling the grate and positioning it 2 inches above the hot coals. Grill the meat for 5 minutes, then flip, brush with marinade, and grill for an additional 5 minutes.
