Grilled skirt steak and russet potatoes cooked effortlessly in a Panasonic CIO for a delicious and comforting meal.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup ketchup
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced, divided
  • 2 teaspoons salt, divided
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper, divided
  • 1 pound skirt steak
  • 4 russet potatoes, diced small
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • Mix together ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a dish. Add steak and coat it well with the mixture.
  • Combine potatoes, the two remaining cloves of garlic, a teaspoon of salt, half a teaspoon of pepper, and oil in a bowl before transferring the mixture to the grill pan.
  • Preheat a grill pan in the Panasonic® Countertop Induction Oven on setting 4 for a 12-inch size. Cook for 15 minutes. Mix potatoes, return to the oven, and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Transfer potatoes to a serving plate.
  • Preheat oven on High using the "Grill" setting.
  • Clean the grill pan by wiping off any remnants of garlic using a paper towel. Then, transfer the steak from the marinade to the pan.
  • Sear steak for 1 minute on each side. Set aside to rest for 3 minutes. Slice and enjoy with roasted potatoes.
