Spooky lizard eye deviled eggs - a fun twist on a classic appetizer, perfect for Halloween parties, sure to impress both kids and adults.
Ingredients:
  • 12 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 pinch celery salt
  • 1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
  • 2 drops green food coloring, or as needed
  • 1 (6 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained
Instructions:
  • Place all the eggs in a large pot in a single layer on the bottom. Add enough cold water to cover the eggs. Bring to a boil, then cover, remove from heat, and let sit for about 15 minutes. Rinse with cold water or add some ice until completely cool. Peel and slice the eggs in half lengthwise.
  • Separate the egg yolks and transfer them to a bowl. Combine the relish, mayonnaise, celery salt, mustard, and food coloring with the yolks. Fill the egg whites with this mixture and arrange them on a serving tray. Use the back of a spoon to shape the top of the filling. Top each yolk with an olive slice to make the eye's center. Finish by adding a small dot of mayonnaise in the olive's center.
