Ham, Pineapple and Cheddar Quiche

Try a delicious Bisquick® cheesy ham and pineapple quiche for a classic French breakfast with a twist!
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (6 oz)
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped cooked ham (4 oz)
  • 3 medium green onions, sliced (3 tablespoons)
  • 1 can (8 oz) pineapple tidbits in juice, well drained
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup half-and-half
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray. 2. In a medium bowl, use a pastry blender or two knives to cut the butter into the Bisquick mix until crumbly. 3. Pour boiling water into the mixture and stir vigorously until a soft dough forms. 4. Press the dough onto the bottom and up the side of the pie plate, forming an edge along the rim using your fingers dipped in Bisquick mix.
  • Evenly layer cheese, ham, onions, and pineapple on the crust. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, half-and-half, and pepper until smooth. Gently pour the mixture into the crust.
  • Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to stand for 10 minutes before serving.
