Baguette slices toasted with ham, melted Brie, and sweet fig jam.
Ingredients:
  • 24 (1/4-inch thick) baguette slices
  • 0.5 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 0.75 pound Smithfield Ham slices, cut into 24 pieces
  • 9 ounces Brie cheese, sliced and cut into 24 pieces
  • 0.25 cup fig jam
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly brush oil on both sides of baguette slices and arrange them on rimmed baking pans, making sure they are slightly spaced out. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Place a slice of ham and Brie on each crostini and bake for 5-8 minutes until the Brie starts to melt. Finish by adding a layer of fig jam on top of each crostini and serve warm for optimal flavor.
