Grilled Black Forest ham and Brie sandwiches with Dijon and apricot preserves on Italian bread elevate the classic grilled cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 6 slices black forest ham
  • 0.5 (8 ounce) wedge Brie cheese, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons apricot preserves
  • 4 thick slices Italian bread
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
  • Construct the sandwiches by stacking ham, brie cheese, apricot preserves, and mustard evenly on two bread slices, then place the remaining bread slices on top. Gently coat the top of each sandwich with olive oil.
  • Preheat a grill pan over medium heat until hot. Place the sandwiches, oiled side down, in the pan and brush the tops with oil. Cook until both sides are golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
