Delicious roast beef sliders on Hawaiian rolls with Swiss cheese and a sweet onion glaze.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup prepared horseradish
  • 1 (12 count) package Hawaiian bread rolls, split
  • 12 slices deli roast beef
  • 12 slices deli-sliced Swiss cheese
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
  • 1.5 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pinch garlic powder, or to taste
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • On the bottoms of the Hawaiian bread rolls, generously spread the zesty horseradish. Layer each roll with 1 slice of succulent roast beef and 1 slice of creamy Swiss cheese. Finally, top with the remaining bread rolls and place the delightful sandwiches in the baking dish.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onion, brown sugar, spicy mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder in the butter until the onion is soft, about 5 minutes. Pour the mixture over the sandwiches, sprinkle rolls with poppy seeds, and cover with foil before baking.
  • Bake in the oven until hot for about 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake until tops are golden brown, for about 10 minutes more.
