Delicious Hawaiian meatballs bursting with sweet and sour flavors - perfect for appetizers or side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup apricot preserves or jam
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400°F (200°C).
  • Combine the ground beef, chestnuts, soy sauce, brown sugar, onion powder, and garlic powder in a large bowl until well mixed. Shape the mixture into 2 tablespoon-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 15 minutes until no longer pink in the center. Mix apricot preserves and cider vinegar, toss with meatballs in a clean bowl, then bake on a sheet for 5 more minutes.
