Australian classic no-bake hedgehog slice: quick, nut-free, and freezer-friendly. Fudgy chocolate and crisp biscuit bites in a versatile treat loved by all ages.
Ingredients:
  • 250g unsalted butter, chopped
  • 395g can sweetened condensed milk
  • 30.00 gm cocoa powder
  • 15.60 gm Shredded Coconut
  • 45g (1/2 cup) desiccated coconut
  • 250g Baking Milk Chocolate
  • 9.20 gm cooking oil
Instructions:
  • Prepare a 16cm x 26cm slice pan by greasing and lining the base. Combine butter and condensed milk in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir occasionally until fully combined.
  • Crush the biscuits in a plastic bag using a rolling pin until you have a mix of fine and chunky crumbs. Then add cocoa powder and coconut to the bag and shake to combine.
  • Combine the biscuit mixture with the condensed milk mixture, ensuring they are well mixed. Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the prepared pan using an offset spatula. Chill in the fridge.
  • Create a luscious icing by melting chocolate and oil together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, ensuring the bowl doesn't touch the water. Stir occasionally until smooth. Drizzle the smooth icing over the slice, then refrigerate for 3 hours to set.
