Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) fillet beef tenderloin (filet mignon)
  • 6 fresh sage leaves
  • 1 clove garlic, cut into sixths
  • 4 fresh thyme sprigs
Instructions:
  • Make a few 2-inch slits in the fillet and tuck in sage leaves and garlic. Wrap the fillet with thyme sprigs and refrigerate for 4 to 12 hours to enhance the flavors.
  • Preheat your outdoor grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grate. Cut the tenderloin in half and season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Sear the fillets for 4 to 6 minutes on each side until cooked to your preference and no longer pink.
