Indulge in Curtis Stone's mouthwatering homemade burgers, perfect for a summer feast the entire family will adore.
Ingredients:
  • 36.40 gm Brand Olive Oil
  • 1/2 medium Brown Onion, cut into small dice
  • 2 cloves Garlic, crushed
  • 500g packet Butcher 3 Star Beef Mince
  • 11.80 gm Brand Dijon mustard
  • 6.10 gm Brand Worcestershire sauce
  • 1.20 gm salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 4 Brand Natural Tasty Cheese Slices
  • 200g Economy Middle Bacon
  • 4 White round rolls, halved horizontally
  • 2 large Iceberg lettuce leaves, quartered
Instructions:
  • Heat a medium frying pan over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of oil followed by the onion and garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened, then season with salt and pepper. Transfer the flavorful mixture to a large bowl and allow it to cool.
  • Combine the mince, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper with the cooled onion mixture. Divide the mixture into 4 parts and form each into a patty slightly bigger than the buns. Optionally, chill in the refrigerator until cold before cooking.
  • Heat the grill to medium-high. Brush burgers with oil, season with salt and pepper. Grill for 2-3 minutes until grill marks form. Flip, add cheese, cook for 2 minutes as desired. Rest on a plate for 2 minutes before serving.
  • Cook the bacon on the barbecue grill or grill pan until it is crispy and has grill marks. Transfer to the plate with the patties.
  • Lower the BBQ grill or indoor grill pan to medium heat. Brush each bun interior with the remaining oil and grill for approximately 2 minutes until lightly toasted.
  • Spread a layer of lettuce on each bun bottom, then add a delicious burger patty on top, crispy bacon, and finally cover with the bun tops. Enjoy right away.
